Each piece is shaped by hand, with subtle variations that give it a poetic, one-of-a-kind character.In recent years, Afghanistan’s artisans have faced enormous challenges, from instability to barriers preventing their work from reaching the world.

Thanks to Turquoise Mountain— a charity supporting artisans and communities to protect and revitalise cultural heritage—there is now a reliable system that allows these remarkable glassmakers to continue their work and share their creations globally.
